The Power Of ‘Together’ !

Helen Keller, 19th Century Author and Political Activist; born deaf & blind overcame her personal difficulties of health disadvantages and her lowly status as a 19th Century Female in a Male dominated Society.

She was a prolific writer and spent her life campaigning for Womens Rights, Social Care & Equality and Workers Rights! and numerous other causes. She recognised that when people came together in a common cause amazing things could be achieved collectively.

Whether it is working together as a family, coming together for a local community cause, being part of a sports or business team, collectively the results become dramatic and productive.

Empower yourself ! No matter what your situation, you can always better yourself. You just need to be positive, acquire a strong will and be determined. Being poor or disadvantaged in any way does not act as a permanent barrier to your goals.

Whilst it is possible to be successful on your own, being smart and enlisting the help & services of others will allow you to develop and grow, with faster and better results. Drawing on other peoples skills, experience and knowledge and learning from their perspectives.

As long as you have put the ground work in first and demonstrated your commitment!

NEVER be afraid to ask or seek the help of others, you will be amazed at just how much people are willing to contribute to your idea or situation and often from those that you may have assumed to be unwilling or disinterested.

Working together is part of the natural human condition, it is what we excel at. Whilst there may be political, religious, racial and geographical divides within family, communities and nations  there is nothing that cannot be ultimately achieved. There can be no greater goal than to bring people together !

This has served as a timely reminder to ask for help when u need to. … I like to think (As a lot of ppl ) that you prove yourself by being independent, however it is sometimes better to actually achieve your goals by being in a collective group. The saying that comes to mind is two heads are better than one!!!

      Thank you Jeanette, well said!
It’s also worth remembering that there is no ‘I’ in ‘TEAM’
I hope you are enjoying the blog and look forward to any further comments you may have!
